Job summary

CareWell Health seeks a dedicated registered nurse to deliver patient care using nursing diagnoses and case management in a hospital setting in New Jersey. You will educate, counsel, and provide supportive care to patients and families, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include triage prioritization, initiating protocols, crisis intervention when needed, documenting progress, and ensuring infection control and policy adherence across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license to practice in NJ.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required; IV Certification preferred.
• 2 years or more experience in an acute care setting; critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patient and/or family to obtain history and make an assessment.
• Assigns a triage priority based on observations and information.
• Initiates diagnostic and therapeutic measures per standing protocols.
• Calls for crisis intervention if needed.
• Acts as liaison between patient, family and health professionals while maintaining confidentiality.
• Coordinates patient needs with supporting departments and assists in problem solving for patient and staff welfare.
• Charts progress concisely and clearly.
• Performs nursing procedures safely and efficiently.
• Adheres to infection control protocols and exiting standards.
