Job summary

Mercy Hospital Ada is seeking a Part Time PCA or Nurse Tech for Med Surg on the Night Shift. Under the direction of the RN or LPN, you will assist in individualized patient care to help each patient reach their highest level of wellness.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, CNA/CPTC, or enrollment in a healthcare program; BLS within one month of hire; and PCA competencies within 3 months. EMT or paramedic experience is listed as preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC, or enrolled in a healthcare career program.
• Experience: None required.
• Certifications: BLS Required within one month of hire, PCA competencies within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in individualized patient care under RN or LPN guidance.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks.
• Work cooperatively with others as part of a care team to meet patient goals.
