Mercy Hospital Ada is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) or Nurse Tech to join the Med Surg unit on the Day Shift (7am–7pm), Full Time, three 12-hour shifts weekly.
Under RN/LPN direction, you will assist in individualized patient care, perform clinical procedures and support tasks, and collaborate with a caring team to promote wellness.
Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification within one month, and PCA competencies within 3 months.

Education: High school diploma, G.E.D, CNA/CPTC. or enrolled in a healthcare career program through their high school curriculum, and/or a current co-worker of Mercy.
Experience: None required.
Certifications: BLS Required within one month of hire, completion of PCA competencies within 3 months of hire.
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
Experience: EMT, Paramedic or Previous Patient Care Experience
Certification(s): Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Tech (CPCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) in the state of practice.
