Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of CNA/MA/PCT program or equivalent (or HMH PCT Apprenticeship program).
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on criteria appropriate to the age of patients served.
• Communicate with patients and care team regarding patient status and care.
• Initiate actions to improve patient care and satisfaction.
• Assist in preparation for assessments, admissions, and procedures.
• Perform vital signs, glucose checks, venipuncture, EKG, and specimen handling as directed.
• Ensure equipment readiness and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Assist with transport, hygiene, feeding, and daily activities as needed.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and behavior standards.
