Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of one of: PCT/CNA/MA program or Nursing fundamentals program or HMH PCT Apprenticeship; other medical background considered for PCT Apprentice path.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS/HCP) certification within 60 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age and care criteria.
• Collaborate with nursing team to ensure safe outcomes and care planning.
• Communicate patient status and care needs with team.
• Take initiative to improve performance and contribute to care delivery beyond basic duties.
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration from admission to discharge.
• Engage in Unit/Department PI activities.
