Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1+ year charge nurse or relevant leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses.
• Assess patients' conditions to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Monitor performance of nursing staff, provide feedback, and conduct appraisals to ensure standards.
• Foster professional growth by identifying training needs and mentoring staff.
• Resolve conflicts among staff promptly using mediation techniques to maintain team cohesion.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing strategies to enhance care and efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Mentor and precept new staff with hands-on training and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies to maintain high standards of service and safety.
