Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach is seeking an RN with leadership responsibilities to oversee venous access and infusion therapy. You will assess patients, develop care plans, educate patients and supervise staff to maintain clinical excellence.

The role emphasizes quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and teamwork within a faith-based health system that serves the community. A valid RN license and an Associate degree are required.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ year of charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy, adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patients to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Supervise nursing staff, provide feedback, conduct appraisals and improvements.
• Mentor and precept new staff to support professional development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
