Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• RN license to practice in Florida.
• Minimum 1 year acute Med/Surg experience.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/ONS nuances may be required per department.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support and other certifications may be required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Med/Surg Orthopedics unit.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Prepare patients and families for procedures and discharge.
