Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus is seeking an experienced department administrator to lead the nursing department, uphold policies, and drive strategic planning and operational excellence in patient care. You will supervise staff, manage timekeeping and payroll systems, and partner with physicians and leadership to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities span budget adherence, supply chain management, staff mentorship, performance evaluations, and ongoing quality improvement

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing, business or related field with minimum experience.
• Five years nursing management in a hospital with three years supervisory experience.
• Arizona RN license active and in good standing.
• Wound care training if applicable; MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Budget preparation and adherence based on service volume.
• Supply chain management for department needs.
• Monitor productivity and costs to meet budget guidelines.
• Plan work assignments with attention to timeliness and financial impact.
• Mentor and develop staff; conduct 30/60/90 day evaluations and annual reviews.
• Ensure compliance with standards and safety guidelines; drive patient experience improvements.
