What You Will Do:
As a Med/Surg Nursing Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care and ensuring a comfortable, compassionate experience for every individual. Your responsibilities will include:
Measuring and recording weights, vital signs, intake/output, and other key data
Assisting patients with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, oral care, and toileting
Supporting mealtime needs: preparing patients, serving trays, and assisting with feeding
Repositioning, ambulating, and escorting patients as needed
Keeping patient rooms tidy and assisting with cleanliness in storage and utility areas
Answering call lights and phones, and helping with general communication on the unit
