York General is seeking a Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to support patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska (or ability to obtain promptly).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
• Support patients’ daily needs including hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and comfort.
• Prioritize and delegate care activities based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and families, including discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in rounds and monitor patient progress through lab results and documentation.
• Accurately document patient care and communicate updates effectively.

What You’ll Do
