Job summary

York General is seeking an Assisted Living Medication Aide (MA or Med Aide) for a full-time night shift in the Assisted Living Nursing Services department. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care to residents and become a trusted member of the care team.

The role involves assisting with daily living activities, administering medications and treatments as directed, documenting care accurately, and reporting changes to the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completed the 40-hour Medication Aide Course and certified as a Medication Aide.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Care that Counts: assist residents with daily living activities with a personal touch.
• Medications & Treatments: administer meds and treatments as directed and document everything.
• Every Day is Different: support residents with meals, snacks, and companionship.
• Monitor & Report: observe changes and report to the nursing team promptly.
