Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for the Med Surg unit. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate patient care, drive performance improvement, and support budget planning to ensure efficient, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include guiding staff, communicating with physicians, and coordinating education to meet annual competency requirements while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with a current Georgia RN license.
• BSN preferred; BLS and ACLS required.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred; within one year of hire.
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience preferred; 4 years acute care experience.
• Cardiac patient population experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Med Surg unit.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist in budget planning and monitor department financials.
• Coordinate educational classes to meet annual competency requirements.
