Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit operations during the shift. The CNC partners with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care following hospital policies and best practices.

This role requires 2 years of acute RN experience, ADN, and RN licensure; BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• 2 years of acute RN experience required.
• RN licensure and ADN required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in collaboration with management.
• Collaborate with experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Help implement nursing strategies to improve engagement and patient experience.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; assist with disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor within productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and equipment management.
