Job summary

North Suburban Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of unit operations across shifts. You will lead nursing care, partner with a management team, and model the organization’s values to deliver exceptional outcomes and experiences.

Responsibilities include improving throughput, coordinating staffing, and implementing service initiatives while supporting interviewing, training, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN licensure (or multi-state license).
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS and/or ENPC certifications desired.
• Graduate from accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• At least 1 year Endoscopy/Day Surgery/PACU experience.
• Previous nursing leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to support throughput.
• Participates in quality assessment of patient care services.
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork and outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Implements nursing strategies like rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, training, and evaluations.
• Manages staff scheduling and productivity guidance.
• Assists with inventory control and supplies management.
