Qualifications

• Has completed the prescribed curricula of a practical nursing program or equivalent coursework approved by a state board.
• Valid LPN license (multistate or Oklahoma) is required.
• 0–6 months related experience.
• Ability to follow physician orders and Nursing Care Plan.
• IV therapy administration as guided by hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data and implements care for an assigned group of patients based on orders and the Nursing Care Plan.
• Documents the nursing process clearly, consistently, and accurately.
• Addresses patient problems and progress toward outcomes; participates in discharge planning.
• Collaborates with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
