Job summary

Saint Francis Health System - Muskogee Campus is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Nights shift on the Muskogee Campus. This part-time position requires (6) 12-hour shifts in an 8-week schedule and may be requested to work full-time hours during orientation.

Administers nursing care under physician orders and the Nursing Care Plan, collects data, documents, and communicates with the RN to plan patient care.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of disease state management and clinical pathways.
• Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and be detail oriented.
• IV therapy administration as guided by hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data, implements and evaluates care for an assigned patient group.
• Documents data and nursing process clearly and accurately.
• Plans discharge and provides patient teaching.
• Facilitates referrals and follows the care plan per policy.
• Attends in-services and contributes to unit education.
