Job summary

Penn Medicine is hiring a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative, academic medical center environment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, applying the nursing process to patients across the age spectrum, while upholding safety, quality, and evidence-based practice standards.

This role requires a BSN (or in pursuit), 15+ months RN experience, BLS certification, and an active New Jersey RN license; national certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required or in pursuit.
• RN experience: 15 months minimum.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Active NJ RN license required.
• National Nursing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent professional nursing care per the nurse practice standards.
• Apply nursing process and take accountability for patient care.
• Coordinate with the interprofessional health care team for safe, timely care.
• Care for patients across age groups from infancy to elderly.
• Demonstrate QA, evidence-based practice, and professional competencies.
