Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey seeks an experienced registered nurse to join our team. You will provide comprehensive patient care across the nursing process in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an Associate's degree or Nursing Diploma, NJ RN license, BLS, and two years of recent specialty experience, plus one year of experience in a floating environment; travel between HM locations may be required.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
Minimum two (2) years recent experience in specialty.
Minimum one (1) year experience in a floating professional environment.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs; strong teamwork and commitment to ongoing education.

Responsibilities

Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
Performs age- and disease-specific assessment independently.
Develops a plan of care with patient/family goals and outcomes.
Implements the plan with ongoing communication to patient/family and care team.
Performs nursing care and treatments per established protocols and documents care.
Discharge planning to ensure safe transition of care.
