Job summary

Saint Peter's Health Care System seeks a Med Surg Float Pool RN to join our Magnet-designated nursing team in New Brunswick, NJ. The role emphasizes collaborative care, thorough patient assessments, and precise documentation of nursing actions.

You will work within established Standards of Care and administer medications per policy. The ideal candidate holds NJ RN licensure with BLS; ECG certification is preferred, and a BSN is recommended or must be pursued within three years of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire.
• BLS certification required; ECG certification obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care

The Med Surg Float Pool RN will:

• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three(3) years of hire date
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ECG certification obtained during clinical orientation

Salary Range:47.00 - 62.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
