Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care across Med/Surg, Pediatrics, PCU, ICU, and ER areas. You will assist RNs, monitor vital signs, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

The role emphasizes infection control, teamwork and effective communication with patients of all ages. Qualifications include CNA certification and BLS, high school diploma, and the ability to travel between units as needed; prior CNA experience or completion of CNA

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or greater, if CNA
• Must be 18 years of age or greater, if LNA
• High school diploma or equivalent, if providing POC Testing
• Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or successful completion of a CNA program
• Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, if CNA
• Current BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

• Attend daily living and safety needs of assigned patients.
• Assist registered nursing personnel in patient care activities.
• Collaborate with departments to provide timely, effective care.
• Record vital signs, heights and weights per policy.
• Maintain patient hygiene and comfort.
• Keep patient environment safe and tidy.
• Communicate with patients across ages.
• Report changes to nurse or supervisor.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Provide hours-based patient rounds and shift handovers.
