Job summary

Griffin Health Services seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to partner with the 2 North Leadership Team and the Department of Professional Development and Nursing Excellence to advance nursing education across Griffin Health Services. The CNE will oversee orientation and onboarding of all nursing staff, develop and implement competencies, and lead in-service programs to promote safe, consistent patient care.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Specialty or education certification preferred.
• 2-4 years acute care clinical experience.
• Current Connecticut licensure in clinical field.
• BLS from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with leadership to promote growth and development of nursing across Griffin Health Services.
• Assist with orientation and onboarding of all nursing staff, including Student Nurse Interns.
• Develop and implement relevant competencies and in-service programs.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify education needs and improve unit-specific processes, policies, workflows, documentation, and other practices to promote safe, consistent patient care.
