Responsibilities

• Serve as primary clinical resource on the unit and mentor staff.
• Provide leadership and support through problem solving and decisions.
• Coordinate staff and patient flow, and adjust assignments as needed.
• Set clear expectations and align decisions with unit goals.
• Foster collaboration between staff, physicians, and departments.
• Support nurse preceptors and new employees during orientation.
