Good Shepherd Health Care in Hermiston, Oregon is hiring a Credentialing Specialist to support Medical Staff Services. You will process initial and re-credentialing applications, maintain provider files, and track expirable licenses and credentials, ensuring timely updates and compliance.

You will coordinate orientations, prepare materials for credentialing committees, and enter data into credentialing software while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a healthcare administrative environment.
• Experience with physicians or healthcare providers.
• Familiarity with credentialing processes and databases.

Responsibilities

• Process initial and re-credentialing applications for medical staff and allied professionals.
• Maintain complete provider credentialing files.
• Track expirable licenses, certifications, and insurance; update timely.
• Coordinate orientation logistics and lead provider orientation.
• Prepare credentialing and committee meeting materials.
• Enter data into credentialing software and internal tracking systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of provider and organizational information.
• Provide general administrative support for Medical Staff Services.
