Job summary

Providence Health & Services in Portland, OR is seeking a Medical Staff Coordinator to coordinate credentialing, initial appointments and reappointments, and privileging under the direction of the Director of Quality Management and Medical Staff Services.

You will act as a liaison to Professional Staff, Nursing, Quality Management and Administration, ensuring timely processing and adherence to program standards across the Oregon Region Medical Staff Services division.

Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: 2 years college or business school coursework.
• Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with healthcare practitioners, all levels of hospital management and with the public.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate credentialing, initial appointments and reappointments, and privileging.
• Liaise with Professional Staff, Nursing, Quality Management and Administration to implement program standards across Oregon Region Quality & Medical Staff Services.
