Job summary

Ascension St Vincent in Milwaukee, WI seeks a physician with Internal Medicine and Pediatrics training to deliver comprehensive care for adults and children. Qualifications

• Licensed physician in Wisconsin with Internal Medicine/ Pediatrics residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• Licensed for prescription authority in Wisconsin.
• BLS certification maintained and up-to-date.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and community health considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care to adults and children within approved privileges.
• Provide inpatient hospital services according to department policy.
• Offer after-hours coverage for SSCHC patients.
• Collaborate with APPs and other team members to manage a shared patient panel.
• Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory tests.
• Prescribe medications and maintain medical records.
• Participate in training of APPs, medical students, and residents.
• Adhere to SSCHC policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.
