Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis seeks a pediatric hospitalist to join a busy and respected practice. You will work within an established team of 13 pediatric hospitalists in an inpatient setting, with access to subspecialties and a robust clinical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/Red Cross accepted).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient medical care to pediatric patients with diverse and complex diagnoses, managing medical treatments and procedures.
• Co-manage with pediatric subspecialists and supervise residents and medical students.
• Serve as medical control authority for Pediatric Ground Transport team.
