Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit hospital system serving a large North Florida region. This role supports the Medical Laboratory personnel, ensuring quality patient care and accurate lab operations within TMH’s Laboratory Information System.

A bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology is required, along with a Florida license in specified areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CLS or MLT program.
• Florida technician license in microbiology, serology, clinical chemistry, and hematology required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Creates optimal environment for Medical Laboratory personnel to provide quality patient care.
• Serves as Assistant to the Laboratory Information System Manager.
• Assists in implementing and maintaining the Laboratory Information System, and provides policies and procedures for quality work.
• Interfaces with administration and clients.
• Assists the Section Head in ensuring compliance with TMH, TJC and CAP.
