Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Billings, MT is seeking a Med Care Manager/QMAP to administer and document medications per physician orders under the Wellness Director. You will learn residents’ preferences and support care plans while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Certification and training in medication administration and First Aid as required.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care with a good work record.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document prescribed medications per MAR under supervision.
• Order meds timely to ensure availability and notify if delayed.
• Document medications after administration with date and initials.
• Observe and report medication reactions or side effects to licensed nurse.
• Take vital signs prior to meds that could affect them as ordered.
• Report medication errors immediately to Wellness Director.
• Assist with care plan development and resident privacy and dignity.
• Support daily care tasks and safety for residents.
