Job Overview

The Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality care by administering medication and treatments safely, organizing documentation, and supporting the Mission of Sunrise Senior Living: "to champion the quality of life for all seniors," in compliance with relevant laws and policies.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Duties

Supporting our Mission, Principles of Service, and Core Values, the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Medication Administration: Administer medications, review and document in the electronic health record, ensure proper timing and documentation, maintain confidentiality, and assist with medication checks and restocking.
• Resident Care Communications: Notify of concerns, participate in daily meetings, and contribute to Individualized Service Plans.
• Risk Management and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, practice infection control, report hazards and incidents, and safely manage oxygen tanks and hazardous materials.
• Training and Team Contribution: Participate in team activities, training, meetings, and engagement programs, and maintain compliance with required training.
