Job summary

CountryHouse Lincoln I is seeking a Medication Aide for evening shifts on a part-time basis. You will administer medications, assist residents with daily living, and help maintain a safe, comfortable memory-care environment.

Qualifications

  • Medication Aide Certification required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Patient, dependable, and compassionate about caring for older adults.
  • Comfortable with medication documentation and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications according to physician orders while ensuring accuracy and resident safety.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition, document appropriately, and communicate concerns with the nursing team.
  • Develop trusting relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.

Approximately 3 evening shifts per week.

What You'll Do
  • Provide Safe Medication Support: Administer medications according to physician orders while ensuring accuracy and resident safety.
  • Deliver Compassionate Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
  • Monitor Resident Well-Being: Observe for changes in condition, document appropriately, and communicate concerns with the nursing team.
  • Build Meaningful Connections: Develop trusting relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
  • Create a Positive Environment: Help foster a welcoming, supportive community where residents feel valued and cared for.
What We're Looking For
  • Medication Aide Certification: Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or equivalent based on state requirements).
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Compassionate Heart: Patient, dependable, and passionate about caring for older adults.
  • Attention to Detail: Comfortable with medication documentation and basic computer skills.
  • Flexible Schedule: Availability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
