SCDOT is seeking an Endpoint Technician to manage a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) environment in Columbia, SC. You'll deploy software, patches, and OS updates to ensure license compliance and policy alignment.

You will generate deployment reports, monitor AppLocker settings, and collaborate with Desktop Support to meet MECM needs. A strong background in PowerShell and AD is essential; familiarity with DELL inventory tools is a plus.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM).
• 3+ years packaging software for MECM distribution to Windows Client using Bare Metal and SoftwareCenter.
• 3+ years of experience with hardware and software patch management using MECM and DELL Client System InventoryAgent.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft DNS.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft DHCP scopes.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Sites and Services.

Responsabilidades

• Manage MECM environment, deploying software and patches per policy.
• Deploy Windows OS, Office, and patches to maintain licenses and compliance.
• Generate reports on deployment status, versions, and patch levels.
• Monitor AppLocker settings and logs on servers and endpoints.
• Coordinate with Desktop Support Manager on MECM needs.
• Monitor Cloud Management Gateway and assist with server upgrades.
• Perform related duties as required.
