Job summary

thyssenkrupp Dynamic Components in the U.S. is seeking a Mechatronics Technician to support the Operations team with mechanical and electrical maintenance of facility production equipment.

You will install, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and control subsystems while upholding stringent safety standards. The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, and knowledge of SAP, CMMS (Maximo), MS Office, and Windows.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; Mechatronics certificate preferred.
• Language: ability to read, write and speak about safety, procedures and work instructions.
• Technology: knowledge of SAP, Maximo CMMS, MS Office and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair production equipment and control subsystems.
• Maintain safety by following policies and reporting hazards.
• Diagnose equipment problems and implement effective repairs.
• Run diagnostics to determine software/hardware/process causes.
• Configure and repair RFID, vision systems and motion controls.
• Maintain CMMS work orders and keep accurate records.
• Train machine operators on maintenance procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
