Job summary

thyssenkrupp Presta Dynamic Components Danville is seeking a Controls System Technician to maintain and repair production equipment, install and troubleshoot electrical and control subsystems, and uphold exemplary safety standards. You will perform PMs, fix CNC and robotics systems, and work with SAP and CMMS tools while collaborating with the Operations team in Danville, IL.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Associates in Industrial Technology preferred.
• In lieu of degree, two years of documented military education from a technical school in relevant electronic or mechanical areas is acceptable; 2 years or more related experience and/or training preferred.
• Mechatronics Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and environmental compliance; report hazards and wear PPE.
• Train machine operators on maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Respond promptly to customer needs with urgency and professionalism.
• Participate in CI initiatives and cross-functional work/process studies.
• Assist with design and installation of specialty tools and equipment.
