We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Mechatronics Technician/Instructor to join our team in delivering high-impact, on-site training for industrial maintenance personnel. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with the ability to teach and mentor maintenance teams in a wide range of manufacturing environments.

As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging, practical courses that cover essential maintenance topics including electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical maintenance, PLC programming and troubleshooting, and introductory robotics. Your goal will be to elevate the technical capabilities of customer workforces, improve equipment reliability, and promote safe, efficient maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver hands-on training courses tailored to industrial maintenance personnel.

- Teach subjects including:

- Electrical systems

- Hydraulics and pneumatics

- Mechanical systems maintenance

- PLC programming and troubleshooting

- Introductory robotics and automation

- Assess learner needs and adjust instructional approaches to match varying experience levels.

- Provide on-site technical support and coaching in real-time production environments.

- Collaborate with customer teams to ensure training aligns with operational goals.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of training materials and curriculum.

- Promote safety, reliability, and best practices in all instructional content.

Qualifications

- Associate degree or higher in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or mechatronics.

- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs

- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

- Prior instructional or training experience preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to travel to customer sites and adapt to various work environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with adult education techniques or instructional design.

- Certifications in industrial safety, PLC systems, or technical training.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
