Job summary
GXO Logistics, Inc. in Clayton, IN is seeking a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. You’ll use mechanical, electrical, computer and software skills to work with robots, automated systems and computer-integrated manufacturing equipment.
On a typical day you will perform preventive maintenance, repair electrical and mechanical parts, and ensure safe operation at heights. Flexibility for overtime and a strong foundation in electronics and factory automation are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in industrial electronics/electrical systems.
- Ability to work at heights and pass Fall Protection Training.
- Overtime availability including weekends as needed.
- Experience with MS Office and computerized scanners.
- Strong math and analytical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and operational checks on equipment.
- Repair and replace defective electrical and mechanical parts.
- Work with robots and automated systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Follow safety protocols when working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Utilize engineering knowledge to troubleshoot production equipment.
