Job summary

Festo USA seeks an Application Engineer (MAE) skilled in mechatronics to support pre-sales and post-sales activities across North America. You will design complex mechatronic solutions, size servo motor systems, and work with customers, distributors, and internal teams.

You will engage with controls engineers, produce technical content, and help drive sales while ensuring regulatory and quality compliance. A strong background in automation and PLCs is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechatronics or related field; MBA preferred for senior roles.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities for customer interactions.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical documents and specs.
• Hands-on experience with IEC61131-3 programming languages and automation software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interface between customers and internal teams during pre-sales.
• Design and size servo motor applications and assist with system integration.
• Collaborate with sales, support, and product teams across NA.
• Support post-sales activities and help close opportunities.
