Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment across the facility.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in MHE maintenance, strong electrical/blueprint skills, CMMS experience, and proficiency in MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems.
• 2+ years experience with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 1+ year reading blueprint and electrical schematics.
• 1+ year knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with a CMMS.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Safety: promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Maintenance: perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE including belts, motors, relays.
• Monitoring: create and close work orders with labor hours and parts data.
• Support: mentor junior technicians and collaborate with teams.
• Communication: maintain positive relationships across Operations.
