Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have opportunities to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

The role requires 2+ years in MHE or automated conveyors, experience with CMMS, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of repair experience on material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyors.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 1+ year of blueprint reading and electrical schematics.
• 1+ year of knowledge with electrical principles.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical problems on MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc.).
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours, maintenance data, and parts; track department inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain positive working relationships across all of the Operations facility.
