Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining MHE and pneumatic systems throughout the building.

You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills and a focus on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience, or apprenticeship certification.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk 12-hour shifts, climb ladders safely.
