Job summary

JLL in Kent, WA is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, at least 2 years in MHE repair and preventive maintenance, and are able to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Associates or higher degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 1+ year of blueprint/electrical schematic reading.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk for long shifts; travel up to 20%.
