Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Kent, WA is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

The role requires hands-on skills with MHE, conveyors, robotics and CMMS, with a focus on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of repair experience with material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• Familiarity reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Electrical principles knowledge.
• Experience with MHE safety standards.
• CMMS familiarity.
• Robotics or electromechanical maintenance experience.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
