Job summary

JLL in Maple Valley, WA is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience performing predictive and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Operations facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours, with or without accommodation.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
