Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

Starting pay includes base rate plus shift differentials; this is a hands-on role with growth opportunities within a safety‑conscious environment in the North Las Vegas area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems or Amazon Apprenticeship.
• 2+ years of preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of reading electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all MHE.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely, and perform bending/reaching tasks.
