Job summary

JLL in Slidell, LA is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building.

You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, mentor junior technicians, and promote a safe workplace while following procedures. The role includes flexible shifts and up to 20% travel, with physical demands typical of industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or higher degree preferred in mechanical/electrical field.
• Experience with material handling equipment and predictive/preventative maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive working relationships across Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours, with or without accommodation.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
