Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Roebling, New Jersey is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building.

You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians while promoting a safe work environment and thorough documentation of preventative maintenance and inventory in the CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours, with or without accommodation.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
