Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

The role requires 2+ years in MHE repair, experience with automated conveyors/controls, and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment (MHE).
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in Mechanical or Electrical field.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 1+ year of knowledge reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with CMMS and safety standards for MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
