Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment. The role involves installing and servicing automated packaging and distribution equipment, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 2+ years in MHE repair and preventive maintenance, with a preference for associates/higher in mechanical/electrical fields and conveyor systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Preferred: associates or higher in mechanical or electrical field; conveyor systems knowledge; ability to read blueprints/electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations Maintenance in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Promote a safe working environment and complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Maintain inventory records and documentation of work performed.
