Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Edison, NJ to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

You will follow safety procedures, complete preventive maintenance, troubleshoot MHE systems, and manage inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years performing predictive and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment following all procedures.
• Complete preventive maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive relations across the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift.
