Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to support the maintenance of building systems and ensure the safe, reliable operation of material handling equipment and robotic systems in a large client facility in Kansas.

You will diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, document preventive maintenance, and collaborate with the Client and Operations teams to maintain optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to solve problems and follow general instructions in standard situations.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ ladders).

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE and robots.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventive maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed.
